Treatment Schedule

Please note: General insecticides are included with all 3 summer treatments! This is very important for all your landscape. It keeps all plants free from persistent bugs such as spider mites and bagworms.

  • Application 1: Dormant Oil – This treatment is applied from January 15th through April 1st. It is designed to prevent sucking insects. This includes: scale, aphids, leaf miners and many more insects.
  • Application 2: Deep Root Feeding – This treatment is applied in mid-spring, April 1st through May 15th. It includes a balanced fertilizer to promote spring growth and beautiful color.
  • Application 3: General Fungicide / Insecticide – Applied sometime in mid-May through June 15th. With summer months, comes many diseases, or fungus that can easily defoliate trees and shrubs. This treatment will control all the most common disease problems in the Kansas City area.
  • Application 4: General Fungicide / Insecticide – Applied in mid-June to mid-July, this treatment is a follow up treatment. Diseases can flare up several times throughout the summer. This treatment keeps your plants protected from those flare ups.
  • Application 5: General Fungicide / Insecticide – Applied in mid-July to mid-August. This treatment finishes off the disease season. This treatment, combined with the first two ensure your plant’s health for the entire season.
  • Application 6: Deep Root Feeding – This treatment is done anytime from November 1st until the ground freezes. This heavy rate of fertilizer is stored by the plant to keep it healthy over the winter months. This will ensure healthy trees and shrubs as they come out of winter dormancy next spring.
